-Scholarships

This year's scholarship has been awarded to JT O'Fee, a graduating senior from Massapequa High School who will be attending SUNY Oneonta this fall.

JT received the scholarship during the Massapequa SEPTA Awards Night, where he was also honored with the Fallon Rae's Sunshine Inclusion Award. This award is presented annually to a student who exemplifies kindness, compassion, and a commitment to fostering inclusion for individuals with special needs throughout the school community.

Following Fallon's passing, SEPTA established the Fallon Rae Sunshine Inclusion Award to honor her legacy of acceptance and inclusion. As a Board, we felt it was only fitting that future graduating seniors who receive this distinguished award also be eligible for a scholarship from our Foundation, recognizing their dedication to carrying forward the values that Fallon embodied every day.

Our Research and Grant Committees are actively collaborating with organizations that share our mission and commitment to advancing meaningful change.
